choosing a nameserver name

I just signed up for a VPS account and I can use my own nameserver. I definitely don't want theirs. The question is - do I use my marketing agency domain name for the nameserver or should I buy a new domain and use it exclusively for the nameserver?

Are there any issues that could come up down the road by using my company domain name- for example increasing spam potential?
