Unusually high CPU Usage
IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
This is cPanel cpuwatch on xxx.xxx***********!
While processing, the cpu has been
maxed out for more than a 6 hour period. The current load/uptime line on the server at the time of this email is
07:00:10 up 5 days, 18:31, 0 users, load average: 2.18, 2.29, 2.33
You should check the server to see why the load is so high and take steps to lower the load. If you want stats to continue to run even with a high load; Edit /var/cpanel/cpanel.config and change extracpus to a number larger then 0 (run /usr/local/cpanel/startup afterwards to pickup the changes).

When I go to the commandline and type the command "ps -aexu", it shows the following 2 processes (among many other small ones) which look rather high -
Code:
USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND nobody 24683 65.0 0.5 7324 2868 ? R Mar21 666:50 usr nobody 1149 49.5 0.5 7332 2892 ? R 01:22 338:37 /usr/bin/sys
Does anyone know what these processes could be, or how I could identify them? I am not aware of any process "usr" (I know there is a directory with that name)
Thanks,
Matt
