Cisco Catalyst 2948G-GE-TX Gigabit Ethernet Switch
We have a switch like this in our DC however it has just broken. Now before I go out and buy a replacement can anyone tell me if there is a better model on the market for the same sorta price at around $3500 - Needs 48 gigabit ports.
Also this switch comes with the Catalyst OS. Is this OS any good? All our other switches used the standard OS and the Catalyst one has a whole load of different commands. Which is newer and most liking to be supported in the next few years?
