RealVNC all gray-blank?!

I've been trying to install Real or Tight VNC, and finally installed the RealVNC one and can logon (connection was refused before) with the viewer. But after the authentication, all I see is blank, totally all gray and blank RealVNC all gray-blank?!

What is it that I did wrong, do I need to configure it (but how)? I have X installed (I think), and etc... do I need other things to be installed? What exactly is needed (other applications) for the vncserver to be run flawlessly?

Also, the first time when I started the 'vncserver' service, it asked for desktop user/pass, then after that, it doesn't ask again when I started the service again after rebooting or killing it.

With the viewer too, I can't choose the username. Also there's that IP:1, IP:2, (IP#), whereas the number indicate the desktop or the logon? I'm confused RealVNC all gray-blank?!

Please help RealVNC all gray-blank?!
