Squid proxy doesn't hide the client IP and infos
I am installing a proxy server for a customer. Basically, he needs to browse the web without leaving his IP address everywhere. The customer lives in a country where most of the internet is banned, so, for him, and his own users, privacy is the main concern.
So, I installed Squid proxy on a box located in Germany. I tried some browsing but my actual IP address is sent to all websites I visit! What it is expected from this proxy is to give his very own IP address not the clients IP.
I read the doc, there is only 4 or 5 lines about that. They say that it is possible to setup squid to run as anonymizer, but there is no further indication on how to do it. This part is not documented.
Have you any idea or doc?
