Problems With htaccess
I have these problems:
1. Password Protection of directories doesn't work because Microsoft Frontpage extensions don't install properly because "Warning, fpfakeout.so failed to build. Please discover the reason!"

2. .htaccess files don't seem to work properly. A lot of the time they produce an "Internal Server Error". I've read that I need to run PHP as an Apache module and not as CGI which is the way it's currently being run. I've searched around quite a lot and I can't find out how to do this.

As you can see both problems are related to htaccess/php etc.
