A customer of us, having a dedicated server with plesk, is running backup mail for a customer of him (we call that person A in this case), when the mailserver at the office of A is down the mail will go to my customers server... but when someone sends an email through the mailserver of my clients dedicated the mail is not delivered to the office of A but to the backup MX...... It seems the mailserver isn't looking to the mx records but first looks if there's any domain matching the domain in the email and if there is the mail is send to that account...... How can I stop qpopper (the mailserver) looking local first and after that looking for the dns?
The system is FreeBSD 4.9 (10) with plesk and as mailserver qpopper...
