Block Whois.sc?
We've had a few reverse lookups recently from whois.sc. The amount of info that the reverse lookup provides is a little concerning (i.e versions numbers of apache, php etc and various other server info). The reverse lookup can be prevented by firewalling out their ip range (have tested this). All their other services such as standard whois lookup seem to be unaffected.
What do you guys think about doing this? Is it overly paranoid, could there be any other negative effects (other than stopping whois.sc reverse lookups if you consider that negative)?
Would like to get some opinions on this.
