DNS issue with .INFO domain
I am not sure if anyone has faced this problem,
As you get reseller hosting you create your own name server .INFO domains are cheap and we decided to use .INFO domain for our custom name server. We waited for 3 working days (more than 72 hrs) for proper propogation etc. I noticed that after 7 days also when we started using these name servers for our clients' domain, we used to get frequent calls for site is not accessible with some ISP, in some part of world etc etc. we check through www.alertra.com and found random errors. We contacted our host company and found everything fine. Datacentre was Layeredtech. After all circus, i thought created one more name servers with .NET and found everything working fine till today.
Similar issue i have recently, this time with our other dedicated server at THE PLANET we used again .INFO domain for creating name server. and again we started getting same kind of calls and tickets from user. Last i have taken decision to go for .COM/.NET domain
Anyone has noticed this kind of problem earlier? is .INFO registry well connected and ISPs are updating their details regulartly about this? what do u advice in future should we use .INFO for nameserver creation or stick to .COM/.NET ? Else what could be the problem?
