What cause the server crash ?
i have client that have a simple flash site averange visitor only 200-250 daily.
have enough space and traffic bandwith.
everything was working fine for a year
however last week suddenly receive 1200 visitors that day ( according to webalizer )
my reseller provider told me that one of my site crashing their server.
everytime they turn this particular domain, it crash other domain on that server.
so they have to shut it down. they suggest move the site to dedicated server.
my questions are
1. is this common issue? i know i was only a reseller so they must have other resller on the same server.
2. what other factors that one site/domain can crash a server. in my opinion when you look at the statistic above it should not be an issue.
3. is it because of many requests/visitor at specific time, my provider told me that this site use 99% of the server capacity.
4. will dedicated server solve this issue
i appreciate if you can share your experience or understanding about this technical stuff.
