I have set the daily and weekly backup function on WHM to make backup copies of the entire server every day and weekly. Now, when the backup starts, it creates (within the "cpbackup" folder) a folder called "daily". In there it dumps all the "gz.tar" files.
My question is, what happens 24hrs later, then the next days' files are written, does it simply overwrite the last days' backup files, and then, at the end of the week, it just creates a "weekly" folder? How is it possible to manage this sucessfully, so that every days' backup is available, permanently.
