How to add MySQL to startup?

Hi guys, please could you help me with this issue...

I upgraded MySQL, as you do when you want a newer version. However it's not booting up at startup anymore, so how do I fix this problem? I tried the following:

/sbin/chkconfig --add /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysql start
Obviously that didn't work as it's wrong. So could someone please tel me how I go about doing it properly? Thanks guys.
