BIND Config - How do I add just my domain

I have a VPS server (no control panel, Centos4, BIND 9), and I only want to host one domain on it, I'm not interested in hosting a fleet of sites.

I've done everything at my register, but now I'm clueless as to how I'm supposed to edit the BIND 9.2.4 config files to add my domain.

I'm not sure why, but I noticed that "norics.com.db" was already created before I started any of this, but when I asked my host if the domain was already set-up I was told "The nameservers has been set properly for the domain at the registrar end. Now you just need to add the dns zone for it on the vps." So I'm not sure why that database is there if they haven't dont anything yet.

Keeping in mind I haven't done any of this before, can I get some advice on where to find well explained info to set this up?
