MySql = Ram Hog?
MySQL: 5.0.19
It's a clean new server, and I installed mysql on it.
I check my system resources, and wow, ram usage is at 173,662,208. Something's wrong. Thinking that for some reason it might me the MySql thing. I stop it. Indeed, ram usage goes down to 109,789,184.
Start it again = 196,268,032
Stop it again = 87,175,168
It's a new box with 2 helo world websites. no traffic/sql usage whatsoever. just the service running.
Now is it normal it's using 60-100Mb ??
