I am having some work done on my website by someone I really don't really know, just through a message board. Is it "normal" to give out your hosting and admin control panel password to someone you hire like this? I gave FTP access but I'm a bit leary to give too much to a stranger and they have asked for full access.
What do you think? Am I being paranoid or is this standard procedure for programmers? Thanks!
