Wondered if anyone has tried the following. Assume you've got a 3Ware card with 2x200GB SATA disks attached. Now one of the disks fails and you can't source the exact type (which is of course preferred). If to be safe I added a 250GB disk to replace the failed disk would the 3Ware card be able to cope? Of course not all 200GB are exactly the same size so I would just try to go above
