High Availablity?
Bit of an open question here for those of you in the know.
I need high availablity email, http and mysql for a client.
Im thinking something along the lines of this :
1- Active Machine
2- Passive Passive
3- Some sort of raid5 shared storage device.
Im assuming something like hearbeat will work fine to allow the passive machine to take over should the active one die. But im really unsure as to how best set this up to give a very good reliablity factor. (while keeping the budget reasonable)
Your ideas would be most welcome, no matter how extravagant. Their budget is open, but the top limit might be something like £5-10k. (im trying to keep this as low as possible)
