IBM HS20 Eserver Chassis Adding FIBRE CHANNEL
I am looking for someone out there who has used the IBM eserver (specifically the HS20 enclosure) platform and has added Fibre Channel. I am getting one of thse chassis loaded down with 14 blades, and I would like to connect it to my Fibre Channel SAN.
From what I can tell, there is a Fibre Channel module that connects int othe back (Just like the ethernet switch and KVM modules) but my question is this:
Is that all I need? Or is there an expansion card that needs to be installed in each blade plus the expansion module?
Anyone out there have experience with this hardware? I am looking forward to playing with it, but I would prefer to connect it to the san directly as opposed to going GNBD or something like that.
