Both Best, Cost Effective and Efficient
I've been pondering a query and i would like your expert opinions.
The purpose here is to have both the best cost effective and redundant data solution. Basically 2 Servers will backup it's data on this machine via FTP.
Option1:
Spend the money for a new machine, and to colocate. Then setup Raid 5 on the machine.
Option2:
We already have 2 Machines On A Pipe. We can Just FTP The Backup Data To Each of the Servers and Perform an MD5 Checksum.
