cPanel, Networked Drive?

I am exploring cPanel and have no prior experience with it on the server level.

Is it possible to say have a large storage server, and have 2 cpanel servers using that large storage server to store its data. I assume NFS would be able to do this, with quota management.

Does anyone forsee any issues?
