Risk associated with a single nameserver
I am small range webhost reseller and I agree I'm a novice. I am just curious to konw what risks are associated with using a single nameserver for my clients as well as my main site.
I am interested to know about the technical issues associated with it, rather than the business stuff. Where can I have a stat of website uptimes when using single, double or triple namesevers?
I guess, most reseller's nameserver IP's are in the same box that hosts the site. So if that box is down, nameservers will be too. How can having 2 nameservers (even if they are in different class C block) help in this case? Could someone please explain it to me?
