cPanel Registration/Activation Problems - Help
I really am in a mess. I recently purchased a dedicated server with cPanel installed, but I have never been able to gain access to the control panel. I get a message saying that cpanel could not be activated.
I contacted my provider about this and they said:
For some strange reason CPanel needs to authorize the license. Possibly because the last person to license this IP was the previous owner of the IP Allocation. As stated, when we activated the license via cPanel's NOC License Area we received an error saying "Your license requires authorization from cPanel Billing Dept. we will review and activate it shortly".
This was all of four days ago. It is becoming a waste of time and money. My provider can't help, and because I didn't purchase my license directly from cPanel, I can't email them for support. I hope that someone here can help me.
