Bah, segfaulting?

Back in November I moved to a dedicated server to host my forum and site, and everything was pretty much fine up until the end of December (Dec. 28, specifically) when my forum started acting up... parts of my board refused to work and it would show up as "this page cannot be displayed" in IE and a "bad server response" error in Safari browsers. In firefox, I would be prompted to download files like admin.php or index.php, and it would go on until I restarted Apache. Bah, segfaulting? When I looked in TOP, this is what it showed:

After restarting, everything would be fine for a few days then it would start again. I've tried recompiling PHP and Apache at least 3 times but it still doesn't work (or stay working). I've been hoping it would just fix itself but now it's just getting really annoying. Bah, segfaulting? I'm going to be redesigning my site with a CMS, so it's going to be bad if this keeps happening...

I'm running PHP 4.4.2, MySQL 4.0.25 and Apache 1.3.34, and my Os is CentOS 3.6 x86 64 bit if it helps at all. Does this sound like a memory issue or is it a software problem?
