I recently started doing some work on my schools network and I recalled someone telling me (a long time ago) about a "smart" firewall/proxy that scanned the websites that passed through it and either added it to the "safe/scan again in 7 days" list or the "blacklist/scan again in 1 month." Due to the hundreds of proxy sites popping up and such everyday, and many students (including myself) being smart enough to get a website and get php-proxy or cgi-proxy on it, its pretty hard for the network techs (including myself) to constantly block hundreds of sites daily. So I was wondering if anyone has heard of such software and can help me find it. Pricerange for it is in the xx,xxx range, but lower is better (its a school district, comeon!).
Summery of above: Firewall or proxy Scans every page that goes through it Labels as bad or good Blocks bad site within seconds (or minutes) Lets good sites pass through
A feedback system would also be nice incase (I bet this will happen quiet often) the firewall/proxy blocks sites which are appropriate but contain the words that the firewall/proxy deems are inappropriate (such as proxy or "firewall bypass" or anomymizer or etc).
