high server loads

I only have 3 active sites on my dedicated server. Averaging about 6000-7000 uniques per day, but at certain hrs my server load goes through the roof. I've had 3 php coders look through my sites coding an none could find anything that would cause such high server loads.

I went to WHM and click CPU/Memory/MySQL Usage, and what I saw is that awstats.pl, has been using the most CPU power each day and modsecparse.pl coming in second.

My server stats are here. 1GB of memory.

I've tried optimizing my server by doing some very basic things, but i doesn't really seem to help. Any suggestions or perhaps someone would like to take a look at my server for me, will pay a small price if you can get it to run smoothly.
