Packet loss question
I hope this is the correct forum. I asked for a server IP at the same time that I placed a quote for a dedicated server (Debian). I thought I'd ping it for a while and after sending roughly 41000 packets I noticed 163 packets where lost.
What's an acceptable packet loss ratio?
0,4% as the above was sounds like a very high figure for me.
