Server load - how to deal with?
Our server has been experiencing a much much higher load these past two months, sometimes to the point where none of the services are accessible. As an example, right now the load is running at just over 2, but often its up to 8,9,10 or more - its here that it grinds to a halt and often needs to be restarted. I think we just have too much on the server and need to remove some domains off it (there are something like 120 domains). However, I'd like to know if there is any way of finding out a) which domain is causing the most load and/or which service - ie is it Exim? I am a bit of a newby at this as you will gather from my post, so any help appreciated or if there's an idiots guide somewhere that would be appreciated too
