Cannot connect to Mail server. Plz Help
I recently installed webmin on a server and am having trouble with the mail server. I have mail server installed (Sendmail). In webmin it says that Sendmail is installed and running. But when I try sending mail or try connecting to the mail server it gives an error.
For example from dnsreport it gives this error.
ERROR: I could not complete a connection to any of your mailservers!
mail.domainname.net: Timed out [Last data sent: [Did not connect]]
If this is a timeout problem, note that the DNS report only waits about 30 seconds for responses, so your mail may work fine in this case but you will need to use testing tools specifically designed for such situations.
What can I do to see if it is running correctly.
