nameserver zone files
ns1.mywebsite.com and ns2.mywebsite.com
2 file sin /var/named:
ns1.mywebsite.com.db and ns2.mywebsite.com.db
I also noticed the 2 nameserver entries in /etc/named.conf
Those zone files were never created for those nameservers but yet I could access the websites fine. What's the benefit of adding them? Will it make the nameserver faster/slower and would more people be able to access the domains on the server without problems? Thanks in advance.
