Windows authentication to web page - users not prompted for password

We have a dedicated servers which is a Win 2003 Standard Edition Server running IIS6. There is a password protected area which works fine for me and many other machines.

However, some of our customers are just getting the standard "You are not authorized to view this page" error. They are not prompted to offer a username and password.

I am thinking this is their own settings on IE or maybe the firewall (if any) they are behind.

Or is it a problem in IIS? Or the way I have configured the user account. They are a member of the 'Users' group and it has NTFS permissions on the folder that they specify in a URL.

Any advice on what may be a bit of a thickie question appreciated!
