how efficient is mysql server clustering?
two servers with identical static databases?
my big question is does the clustering take up a lot of resources when database content gets changed alot (for example a 100mb database, 2-5% gets changed in a day). my options are to mirror my one database every 24 hours on another server OR to cluster two servers which would give me dynamic mirroring. i am trying to figure out how much less efficient clustering would be compared to the static back up alternative (to figure out if dynamic mirroring is worth it).
