php cache for dual processors server

since eAccelerator seems to have troubles on both dual processors and 64 bit machines, I was wondering if there's any alternative php cache out there that work effectively?

I have looked around and found :

-after burner

- php Accelerator

- APC (alternative php cache) which was highly recommended apart from the incompatibility issue with zend optimizer.

Was wondering, did anyone managed to used APC (or eAccelerator) successfully on dual machines?
