one or two people cant email accounts on my server, but everyone else can. Why?
I'm having trouble with just a couple of people who cant email any accounts on my server. Everyone else seems fine, well at least I only have two clients saying they have single individuals each who cant send them emails.
anyway, the error log says this for one of the failed senders:
H=(smtp2.global.net.uk) [80.XXX.XX.XXX] sender verify defer for <m***@waitrose.com> sender verify defer for <m***@waitrose.com>: host lookup did not complete
H=(smtp2.global.net.uk) [80.XXX.XX.XXX] F=<m***@waitrose.com> temporarily rejected RCPT <webmaster@*****.org> Could not complete sender verify
Can anyone shed any light for me please as to what might be going on here.
Looking through these boards for some ideas I spotted some stuff about the etc/resolv.conf file. Mine has the single line it which says:
nameserver xx.xxx.x.x58
but the last two digits as far as the nameservers go should be eeither 59 or 60. 58 is the physical ip of the server.
My engineers say it is fine because I am using localhost as the resolver on a single cpanel server.
Any ideas are greatfully received!
