Traffic Management

Hello everyone,

I have searched around WHT to find thread about traffic management, but could not find any useful one for me.

I have decided to launch hosting company in my country. Internet Connection (Global one) fee is very high in here. It costs around $6000/month to get 1Mbp/sec fiber line, satellite one costs around $4000/month.

All internet providers in my country are interconnected and thus provide colocation with free local traffic. I have decided to colocate a server in the ISP and get around 64kbp/sec or 128kbp/sec line for global traffic.

On the other hand, I am thinking of getting dedicated server from U.S. so I can serve customers available out of the country well.

I am thinking to link those two dedicated servers between each other and have some kind of routing. If the visitor comes from my country it will be redirected to the local server, which has free local traffic. If the visitor comes from foreign country it will be redirected to the server located in U.S.

Both servers will be interconnected and data will be transferred to the U.S. server in every 10 minutes, if there are any changes.

Does anyone have an idea how it can be arranged? I would really appreciate if someone could give me some recommendations or show me the direction.

Thank you in advance
