WHM: Page Cannot be displayed

I had to reboot the server due to a very high server load.

Once it had rebooted, everything seemed to work ok.

People can log into cpanel fine, webpages etc are great, and the server load is back to normal.

however, no one can log into WHM, they are asked to enter a username and password, and then get a blank page within firefox, and a page cannot be displayed error in internet explorer.

does any one know how i can go about fixing this?
