Two Little Puzzles

These may be dumb questions, but I am not very skillful at the mysterious ways of unix, so perhaps somebody would be kind enough to tell me what these mean --

Mystery # 1 -

Each morning I find two emails that my server sends me. The first one is long and detailed and talks about backups made. The second email says this:

/etc/cron.daily/logrotate:

stat of /var/log/exim_paniclog failed: No such file or directory

What does this mean, please?

Mystery #2 -

X-Persona: < [one of my email addresses] >
Date: 03 Mar 2003 19:52:43 -0500
From: Mail System Internal Data <MAILER-DAEMON@[ servername ]>
Subject: DON'T DELETE THIS MESSAGE -- FOLDER INTERNAL DATA

This text is part of the internal format of your mail folder, and is not
a real message. It is created automatically by the mail system software.
If deleted, important folder data will be lost, and it will be re-created
with the data reset to initial values.

What does this mean, please?

I would be grateful if anyone here knows the meaning of these mystery messages.

Thanks.
