Problem with security in linux .Please Help
I am managing a server which is using : Linux , CPanel , Php , mysql . And i have some problem :
1. My server is allow remote connect to database. So what can i do to stop this ? I want only local connect to mysql in my server .
2. Some of my user using something like : phpremoteview , CGItelnet and local hack another website in my server. phpremview can stop by turn on phpsafemode . But it not a good idea when turn php safe mode on . Anyone have exprience in anti this kind of local hack ? Especial a CGItelnet . I have no way to stop it .
I have SSH root access only .
